"Play is the highest expression of human development in childhood for it alone is the free expression of what is in a child's soul." - Friedrich Froebel
The Beautiful Minds Enrichment curriculum was thoughtfully composed to balance directed and constructive play to prepare children for the future classroom with free time to nurture a child’s own natural curiosity and love of learning.
What you and your two-year-old child can expect from our facility…
Play-based learning encourages imagination and creativity, as well as builds strong relationships skills between peers, and the development of language ability.
Circle Time is valuable lesson time in which we will sing songs to build vocabulary and practice memory skills as well as discuss the weather and learn the days of the week. The children will also participate in various counting activities!
Sensory building activities, such the sand and water table, will help children learn numbers and letters, and other various skills in addition to serving as a fun medium during play time. Children can expect to create with finger paints, make their own gak, and compare different textiles through many exciting new activities.
Story Time will include an eclectic variety of books to be read. One part of the Beautiful Minds Enrichment program is the participation in the "tot book club," which focuses on encouraging young children to form opinions and compare stories as a class and eventually on their own!
While not every moment can be accounted for in every day, we believe a solid structure will help foster a feeling of safety and security in the child, and a stable environment in which they will feel free to explore.
